Why aged accounts are the product

A lot of subreddits silently drop posts from new or low-karma accounts. Karma minimums, account-age gates, and CQS checks sit in AutoMod before a moderator ever sees the thread. Publishing from an aged high-karma, high-CQS account is how the post gets a chance to exist in the first place.

That is also why a Reddit post is worth buying if you care about Google: Reddit has unusually high domain authority, so a native thread can rank for a product, a brand, or a problem people search. What this order does not include
