How this AutoMod simulator works

Most removals are AutoMod, not a human. Enter a subreddit plus the title, body, link, post type, and author karma/age (defaults simulate a brand-new account: 1 karma, 0 days). We fetch /r/sub/wiki/config/automoderator.json and evaluate the subset of checks that cause ~90% of removals. If the wiki is private you can paste the YAML directly.

What we evaluate

  1. 1

    Load the config

Public automod wiki JSON, cached 30 minutes. Private wikis return a paste box instead of an error wall.

  2. 2

    Run the common checks

    title/body/domain/url with includes, includes-word, regex, starts-with; body_longer_than / shorter_than (and title_*); author comment_karma, post_karma, account_age, name; is_edited; media; action remove/filter/report/comment with action_reason.

  3. 3

    Show what fired

Each matching rule lists the clause, the field, and a snippet — plus the raw YAML in a details block.

Who this is for

  • Anyone posting in a strict room with a fresh account.
  • Marketers pre-flighting promo-adjacent drafts.
  • Mods testing a rule before it eats real users.

Limits

Not a full Reddit clone. We cannot run moderator-exemption, flair CSS, report-count, or every exotic check. Private configs need a paste. No scan cookie, no BrightData.

Will this guarantee my post stays up?

No. Humans, karma floors, and site filters still apply. It answers "would AutoMod remove this draft" only.

Why ask for karma and age?

Most new-account removals are author thresholds (e.g. account_age < 7). Defaults simulate worst case so you see the strictest outcome.

What if the wiki is private?

Paste the YAML from the mods (or your own draft config) and we evaluate that instead.
