What Reddit comment upvotes actually do

Comment upvotes raise the score on one reply. Reddit sorts comments by that score, so a higher-voted reply sits closer to the top of the thread — the part people actually read. You paste the comment permalink, choose how many upvotes, and set how fast they arrive. Default price is $0.05 each, default speed 50 per hour.

The permalink is the link with /comment/ in it, pointing at that one reply — not the post URL. Post score is a different order: buy post upvotes.

Score is not the same as a native reply
