How this subreddit comparison tool works
Enter 2–3 subreddits. We run the activity check on each in parallel (Http::pool) and lay them side by side: members, created year, posts/7d with dead/active labels, median comments, restriction chips, public description, and links to Reddit, rules, and activity pages. This is public-stats comparison, not audience overlap — there is no comment-author intersection because that would be slow and expensive.

Two rooms that both claim your niche. The table keeps columns aligned so trade-offs pop.

Weigh liveliness first
posts/7d and median comments beat raw member counts. A smaller, talkative room usually converts better.

Check friction
Restriction chips (text-only, restricted posting) plus NSFW flags tell you where a promo-adjacent post even can live.

Limits

Which column matters most?
posts/7d plus median comments. Members are vanity; replies are distribution.
Why is a sub missing?
Private, banned, or typo'd names return an inline error instead of breaking the table.
