Comment karma, the reliable path
Sort a busy subreddit by Rising or New. Find a post that is climbing and still has a thin comment section. Write one useful or funny reply. Then leave. You are placing small bets in rooms with traffic, not trying to win every thread.
Replies under a comment that is already at the top borrow that audience. One-word agreement does not. Copied jokes get downvoted fast enough to erase an afternoon.
